The City of Ellsworth, in cooperation with The Maine Department of Transportation (MaineDOT) is soliciting proposals for professional services for a Village Partnership Initiative, MaineDOT WIN 28736.00.
Proposers must provide: a.) a technical proposal; and b.) a price proposal in a separate, sealed package. Price shall not be part of the technical proposal; otherwise, that proposal shall be rejected.
The City is undertaking this Village Partnership Initiative (VPI) study with funding from the Maine Department of Transportation (MaineDOT). This project is subject to applicable federal and state laws, regulations, policies and procedures, including but not limited to those described in the MaineDOT Local Project Administration Manual: http://www.maine.gov/mdot/lpa/manual/

- Q: On page 7 of 9, under Item 10. Proposal Pricing, I noticed that the Rate Caps listed, and the mileage reimbursement rate under Direct Expenses are out of date. The current rate cap is $85/hr. and current mileage reimbursement rate is $0.50/mile. Can you please confirm that the current updated rates will be used for this project.
A: MaineDOT recently updated the rate caps for projects. The current rate caps are $85/hr and the mileage reimbursement rate is $0.50/mile. Applicants should feel free to use these updated numbers.
