Wilson Field and Knowlton Park are about to get a little extra care from the City of Ellsworth Parks & Recreation team.
Beginning Monday morning, June 1, 2026, crews will be aerating and overseeding both locations to help keep the grass healthy, strong, and ready for a busy summer season.
The work is expected to take approximately one day. During that time, there will be some temporary disruptions as the areas will need to stay clear while crews work their magic.
If you see Parks & Recreation staff making pass after pass across the fields, know they’re hard at work caring for these community spaces the way only our Parks & Rec team can. 💚
