New Deadline: Bids are now due on September 18 at 9am.
The owners of the building located at 125 Main Street, Ellsworth, Maine, seek qualified vendors to provide individual bids for the following services to the Main Street Facade:
Demolition: Remove siding and overhang structure from the front of the building.
Brickwork: Repair, clean and repoint brick exterior.
Façade: Furnish and install transom windows, removing old inserts. Installation of a new entry door. Install new signage.
Electrical: Relocate electrical components that may be exposed behind the wall.
This work is partially funded through a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Business Façade Grant and is subject to all federal and state requirements for this program. Davis Bacon wage rates will apply for this project.

Bids submitted by e-mail or fax will not be accepted. The bid opening will take place immediately following the bid deadline and will be open to the public. The City of Ellsworth reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids.
