Payment Service Fees
The City of Ellsworth has a payment policy that mailed or in-person checks and cash are free of fees. All Visa/Mastercard credit card transactions carry a 2.5% service fee. All American Express credit cards transactions carry a 3.0% service fee. Online check payments (eChecks) have a flat $2.50 per check fee.
